• Facts:
  MC underlying cause is atherosclerosis
• Treatment:
  Medical management (smoking cessation!)
  Surgery ( > 5cm, rapid growth, or presence of symptoms )
  
• Notes:
  USPSTF recommends screening male active or former smokers aged 65-75 years, with a one time abdominal ultrasound t evaluate for AAA
• Risk Factors:
  Smoking
  Hyperlipidemia
