  X linked recessive disorder
  Boys 3-7 years old
  Most patients die by 20 years old
• History / PE:
  Proximal muscle weakness
  Calf pseudohypertrophy
  Gower's sign
• Diagnosis:
  Muscle biopsy
  Markedly elevated creatine kinase ( >4000 U)
  Myopathic pattern (EMG)
  
• Treatment:
  Supportive
