  • Facts:
    Long-term bacterial infection that usually appears in the area between overlapping skin (skin folds)

    MC in diabetics
  • History / PE:
    Reddish-brown slightly scaly patches with sharp borders
    Patches occur in moist areas such as the groin, armpit, and skin folds
  • Diagnosis:
    Erythromycin gel
  • Pneumonic:
    Erythr asma treat with erythr omycin
  • Associated With:
    Diabetes mellitus
  • Differential Diagnosis:
    Fungal infections (eg. ringworm)
