• Facts:
  Klebsiella is an encapsulated, gram negative bacillus
  Most commonly affects the upper lobe
  Common cause of pneumonia for diabetics and ETOHics
  
• History / PE:
  Cough productive of dark red, mucoid, current jelly sputum production
• Diagnosis:
  Mucoid colonies (sputum culture)
