Open angle glaucoma

• Facts:
  MC in African Americans and has an increased prevalence in those family history of glaucoma and diabetes
  
• History / PE:
  Usually asymptomatic early on
  
  Gradual loss of peripheral vision over a period of years, leading to eventual tunnel vision
• Treatment:
  Timolol (beta blocker) eyes drops
  Laser trabeculectomy
• Differential Diagnosis:
  Diabetic retinopathy
  Cataract
