  • Facts:
    Aggressive, cancerous neoplasm
    MC malignant bone tumor in youth
    Average age of diagnosis is 15 years old
    Tends to occur in the metaphyseal regions of the femur (distal) and tibia (proximal)
  • History / PE:
    Pain worse at night
    Constitutional symptoms (fever, weight loss, night sweats)
  • Diagnosis:
    Codman's triangle and "sunburst pattern" (XRAY)
  • Treatment:
    Limb sparing surgeries
    Amputation
