MC organisms ( E.coli > Proteus > Enterobacter )
History / PE
:
Flank pain
CVA tenderness
Fever
Dysuria, pyuria, bacteriuria
Treatment
:
Levofloxacin
PO 7 days (IV if pt has nausea/
vomiting
)
Complications
:
Abscess
Renal papillary necrosis
Renal scars
Risk Factors
:
Vesicoureteric reflux (or incompetency)
