History / PE
:
Typically male children 3-10 yo
Usually follows mild trauma/infection
Hip pain, decreased ROM
Low grade fever
Treatment
:
Restricted weight bearing
NSAIDs
(ibuprofen)
Differential Diagnosis
:
Septic arthritis
Slipped capped femoral epiphysis
Legg–Calvé–Perthes syndrome
