Gastrointestinal symptoms
Chronic malabsorptive diarrhea (steatorrhea, flatulence)
Abdominal pain
Protein-losing enteropathy
Extraintestinal manifestations
Migratory non-deforming arthritis
Chronic cough
Myocardial or valvular involvement
Lymphadenopathy
Low grade fever
Later disease stages
Dementia
Supranuclear ophthaloplegia
Myoclonus
Diagnosis
:
Small intestinal biopsy shows
PAS positive macrophages
