Develops above the UES, by herniating posteriorly between the fibers of cricopharyngeal muscle

Neck mass
Oropharyngeal dysphagia
Regurgitation
Foul-smelling breath
Diagnosis
:
Barium swallow
(contrast esophagram)
Treatment
:
Cricopharyngeal myotomy
Complications
:
Tracheal compression
Regurgitation
Pulmonary aspiration
