  Progressive dysphagia
  Chest pain
  Food regurgitation
  Aspiration
• Diagnosis:
  Decreased esophageal body peristalsis
  Poor relaxation of the LES
  Dilated "birds beak" esophagus (barium swallow)
  Esophageal monometry
• Treatment:
  Botox ingestions
  Esophageal dilation
  Heller myotomy
• Associated With:
  Chagas disease
  Esophageal cancer
• Differential Diagnosis:
  Diffuse esophageal spasms (DES)
  Cricopharyngeal dysfunction
