Atrioventricular Reciprocating Tachycardia AVRT

• Facts:
  Supraventricular Tachyarrhythmia
  Circulating movement of an impulse between the AV node and the atrium through a bypass tract
• History / PE:
  Palpitations
  SOB
  Angina
  Syncope
• Diagnosis:
  Retrograde P wave after normal QRS
• Treatment:
  Carotid massage/valsalva, adenosine (stop arrhythmia)
  Cardiovert if unstable
• Associated With:
  Wolff-Parkinson-White Syndrome
