  • Facts:
    Malignant disorder of well-differentiated B lymphocytes
    MC affects older males
  • History / PE:
    Weakness
    Fatigue
    Easy brusing
    Splenomegaly
  • Diagnosis:
    Bone marrow becomes fibrotic (dry tap)
    Tartrate-resistant acid phosphatase (TRAP) staining
    Leukopenia
    CD 11c marker
    Fine, hair-like irregular projections from lymphocytes
  • Treatment:
    Nucleoside analogs (eg. cladribine)
