• Facts:
  Results from the deposition of acute phase reactants, particularly serum amyloid A, in the setting of chronic systemic inflammation
  
  
• History / PE:
  Nephrotic syndrome ( HTN, edema, proteinuria )
  Hepatomegaly (liver involvement)
• Notes:
  Kidneys and liver are prominently affected
