    Highly correlated with cigarette exposure
    Neuroendocrine origin
    Most malignant lung cancer
  • History / PE:
    Central location (like squamous cell carcinoma )
    Mets usually found on presentation
    Peripheral neuropathy
    Weakness ( Lambert-Eaton syndrome )
  • Treatment:
    Unresectable
    Mainstay of treatment is chemotherapy
  • Pneumonic:
    "S entral" is S quamous cell and S mall cell carcinoma
