  Severe infection, seen in older, poorly controlled diabetics
  MCC by Pseudomonas aeruginosa
• History / PE:
  Ear pain, drainage
  Granulation tissue in ear canal
  
• Diagnosis:
  CT / MRI to confirm
  
• Treatment:
  Ciprofloxacin
• Complications:
  Osteomyelitis of skull base
  Destruction of facial nerve
