    Infectious etiology
    Usually seen in kids < 6 yo
  • History / PE:
    Sudden onset, diffuse erythema
    Skin tenderness
    Fever
    Flaccid bullae
    Perioral crusting
  • Diagnosis:
    Biopsy shows only superficial damage
  • Differential Diagnosis:
    Stevens Johnson Syndrome
    Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis
