    Fever, cough, coryza, conjunctivitis

    RASH
    Maculopapular rash that spreads from head to feet
  • Diagnosis:
    Leukopenia
    Lymphopenia
    Fourfold rise in hemagglutinin inhibition antibody titer
  • Treatment:
    VITAMIN A
  • Complications:
    Subacute sclerosing panencephalitis
    Vitamin A deficiency
    Bronchiectasis
    PNA
  • Pneumonic:
    3 C's

    Cough
    Coryza
    Conjunctivitis
  • Notes:
    Koplik spots (red spots with bluish-white specks on buccal membrane) are pathognomonic
