• Facts:
  Pain in the distribution of the fifth cranial nerve
• History / PE:
  Unilateral shooting pains, often triggered by activity
• Treatment:
  Carbamazipine (first line)
  Gabapentin
  
• Differential Diagnosis:
  Multiple sclerosis (bilateral trigeminal neuralgia )
