Fasting plasma glucose >126mg/dL on two occasions OR
2.)
Random plasma glucose > 200 mg/dL plus symptoms OR
3.)
Two-hour postprandial glucose > 200 mg/dL after a glucose tolerance test on 2 separate occasions

Routine HbA1C testing
BP checks
Foot checks
Annual dilated-eye exams
Annual
microalbuminuria

Lipid profile q 2-5 years
Complications

RTA type IV
Diabetic ketoacidosis
