Wilms' tumor Nephroblastoma

• Facts:
  MC primary renal neoplasm of childhood (kids 2-5 yo)
  Mass does NOT cross midline
  Tumor arises from metanephros
• History / PE:
  Abdominal mass (in 10% of cases, bilateral)
  Hypertension
  Hematuria
• Treatment:
  Nephrectomy
• Associated With:
  WAGR syndrome
  Beckwith-Wiedemann syndrome (hyperinsulinemia)
  Denys-Drash syndrome (pseudohermaphrodism)
  
• Differential Diagnosis:
  Neuroblastoma (seen in younger kids, crosses midline)
